If you lived abroad during 2022, please provide us with the following information when you send your information.
- The name of your employer, your employers US address and your employer’s foreign address.
- The date you physically began living abroad.
- The dates you entered and left the US during 2022.
- Your total earning earned overseas converted in US dollars (use avg. exchange rate during 2022).
- The amount you paid (i.e. foreign dollars and US dollars) in foreign taxes during 2022
- The amount you paid in rent.
- If you had foreign financial assets (i.e. bank accounts, brokerage accounts, etc.) and the total value of your specified foreign asset was more than $50,000 ($100,000 if married) on the last day of the tax year or more than $75,000 ($150,000 married) at any time during 2021 you will need to complete and bring Form 8938.
